I lucked out and Ax had the day off when I was in town. We didn't have much time together so whatever we did would have to be a day trip, so we went hiking with intent to climb a mountain. We hiked to an abandoned mine instead... here's our day in pictures:

At last, the entrance to the mine! They tried to blast it shut but it still went in quite a ways.
